Dorset Reclaim wins 'Best National Partnership Award’

We recently applied for the National Wood Recyclers Association ‘Best Partnership Award’ for the wood recycling project and we are very, very pleased to say that we won this national award when up against many others, mostly large recycling companies, and John Randall returned with our first trophy !

The Awards luncheon was held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on Tuesday and John Randall attended on our behalf, along with Judith Martin from the Borough of Poole.

Dorset Reclaim receives a cheque from the Armoury Centre at Allenby Barracks

Ray Tovey (Project Manager) and Joanna Taylor (Policy and Development Manager) attended a cheque presentation on the 28th July at the Armoury Centre at Allenby Barracks, Bovington.

Dorset Reclaim was one of 3 chosen charities to receive a kind donation of £200 from their Garrison Spring Fête; the presentation was held at a Passing Out Parade.

The Poole Park Steam Railway shops with us

The Poole Park Steam Railway are now buying their kindling from one of our Wood Shop (Poole depot).

With our new Wood Shop project, we now sell to the public wood, fire wood & wooden items.
We have 3 depots where anybody can purchase: Bournemouth (Charity Outlet in Windham Road), Poole depot & Dorchester depot. Why not come in to see for yourself or to pre-order?

JP Morgan's Vice President, Bournemouth Mayor and Mayoress visit Dorset Reclaim

Dorset Reclaim received a visit from Bournemouth Mayor and Mayoress in its newly rebuilt premises.

On the same day, Dorset Reclaim received a most welcomed donation of £2,500 from JP Morgan's Vice President Dorcas Williams.

High Sheriff Timothy Palmer visits our Poole Depot

After the official launch of the Wood Shop, our Poole depot received a visit from High Sheriff Timothy Palmer.
The High Sheriff’s visit was to inspect the new Wood Shop, as well as to promote volunteering within the community.
