Volunteering |
Dorset Reclaim is all about people. One of the
key aims of the project is to provide opportunities for members of the community to help in the
day to day running of the organisation, receive training & share their skills.
We are dependant on a voluntary workforce, have a variety of roles on offer and hours to suit most
people.
Our days are Monday to Friday and times can be varied to suit the individual, whether a couple of
hours or a few days a week, your help will be greatly appreciated.
Our Statement:
• It is important that all volunteers feel valued and their efforts are recognised.
• Dorset Reclaim will use social events as an important way of saying thank you and to help team
building.
• References will be given on request and certificates of training or recognition issued as appropriate.

whilst on Benefits |
If you are currently in receipt of benefits
& want to volunteer, you may need to speak to your Jobcentre Advisor to ensure they are happy
& your benefit is not affected.
Please bare in mind that the amount of volunteering you contribute may affect some benefits, whilst
some others remain unaffected.

Vacancies |
Dorset Reclaim is dependant on
a voluntary workforce to keep the wheels turning, with a variety of roles to suit most people.
These include:
• Assisting and advising our clients.
• Helping to organize the warehouse, receiving deliveries and sorting orders.
• Van driving.
• Assisting the van drivers.
• Repairing furniture.
• Helping test and repair our electrical goods.
• Cleaning donated goods.
• Office & administration, taking phone calls, etc.
• I.T., helping with donated computers, etc.
• Various types of wood work.
• We are also keen to hear from anybody with specialist advice to offer, knowledge of antiques
or computer engineering for example.

We are open: Mondays to Thursdays: 9.30am - 4.30pm / Fridays: 9.30am - 4.00pm.
We have a variety of jobs on offer and hours to suit most individuals.
The days and times are varied to suit the individual, whether a couple of hours or a few days a week, your help will be greatly appreciated.

Fun Stuff |
Volunteering for Dorset reclaim
is not only about work. We organise social events such as skittle nights, BBQ on the beach, inter-depot
competitions, Christmas parties, in all something for everyone. Any excuse to have birthday cakes
or general depot celebration is seized.
