THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Dorset Reclaim is both a charity and a limited company. The Management Committee have resposibility for ensuring the Project is properly run and meets our charitable objectives
Members of the Committee give their time freely, and represent local organisations who have a direct or indirect interest in the work of the Project. Members also need to be personally interested in our work, and prepared to contribute in many ways.
Our individual members do not represent any organisation but come from a variety of backgrounds, all of whom contribute to the Committee.
The Management Committee is responsible for the employment of project staff, ensuring financial viability by looking at budgets, applying for grants, agreeing a pricing structure, and making sure the right policies, such as those relating to volunteers, are in place.
It also decides on any major issues that will affect the running of the Project, and sets a business plan to ensure our future.
